Burnham Market & Wells-next-the-Sea
Burnham Market is the perfect place to shop, dine, and revel in the traditional village atmosphere. There is an exciting array of eateries serving everything from cappuccino to sea bass, afternoon tea and cakes to a club sandwich, and all are welcome. You might even spot a celebrity or two there. You can cosy up in the front bar and watch the world go by.
Wells-next-the-Sea offers a long sweeping beach bordered by pine woodland, around the bustling harbour with small fishing boats unloading their catch and children sitting on the quayside fishing for crabs. Along Staithe Street you’ll find its traditional family- run shops just a walk away from the tree-lined Buttlands Square with its fine Georgian architecture and welcoming taverns – Wells is an unspoiled seaside destination, waiting to be discovered.
