Birmingham Christmas Market
Birmingham’s German Market is a magical shopping event held in the city centre every November and December. Referred to by the council as Frankfurt Christmas Market Birmingham, because it was originally brought to the city from Frankfurt in 1997, it is the largest of its kind outside Germany. With dozens of stallholders – some from Birmingham’s twin city Frankfurt – and with over 5 and a half million visitors a year, it sells food and drink, toys, decorations, jewellery and crafts.
The Christmas market brings a truly fabulous atmosphere to the city over the festive period and an even better aroma, so why not come along and join us to experience it for yourself!
