Burnham Market & Wells-next-the-Sea
First off we’ll be visiting Burnham Market, a quaint English village with loads to offer. Then in the afternoon, we will move on to spend the rest of the day in the idyllic seaside town of Well-next-the-Sea.
Burnham Market is the perfect place to shop, dine or simply stay awhile and revel in being part of the traditional village atmosphere. There is an exciting array of eateries serving everything from cappuccino to sea bass, afternoon tea and cakes to a club sandwich, and yummy bar food or fine dining at the famed Hoste, and all are welcome. You might even spot a celebrity or two there. You can cosy up in the front bar and watch the world go by. Burnham Market truly has something for everyone, a warm welcome awaits you!
Wells-next-the-Sea offers a long sweeping beach bordered by pine woodland, around the bustling harbour with small fishing boats unloading their catch and children sitting on the quayside fishing for crabs. Along Staithe Street you’ll find its traditional family-run shops just a walk away from the tree-lined Buttlands Square with its fine Georgian architecture and welcoming taverns – Wells is an unspoiled seaside destination, waiting to be discovered.
