After having to cancel last year’s trip due to the pandemic, we’re finally getting to visit the world-famous spa town of Harrogate in North Yorkshire.
This historical yet vibrant district has plenty to offer its visitors on our coach breaks – being famous for its horticulture, grand buildings and graceful scenery with natural springs. Consisting of a Cathedral City, a World Heritage site, a Spa Town and spectacular natural beauty – a real gem just waiting to be discovered in North Yorkshire.
Harrogate and District have been voted the happiest place to live in the country for the past three years running; hosting something for everyone with a wide range of attractions and events, from enjoying afternoon tea at the renowned Betty’s Tea Room, to the famous Harrogate Flower Show and the popular Great Yorkshire Show.
Harrogate and District are treasured with historical sights for you to explore, such as Ripon Cathedral, Fountains Abbey and Turkish Baths, as well as the 18th century, aesthetic, Grade 1 listed building – Newby Hall, located on the banks of River Ure near Boroughbridge.
